David L Davitt

Attorney David L. Davitt received his B.A. in Business from Bethel College, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1979, and received his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 1982. He was admitted to practice law in Iowa in 1982, and practiced law in Des Moines, Iowa for 9 years. Mr. Davitt began practicing law in Illinois in 1991, and has been a partner with Schlueter Ecklund since he joined the firm in 1997.

David L. Davitt focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning & administration, real estate, business transactions and bankruptcy, and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Winnebago County Bar Association.

Mr. Davitt has also served on the boards of directors for local non-profit organizations, including the Rockford Rescue Mission.
